Phone Numbers

We collect phone numbers for account holders, team members, and subcontractors. Phone numbers are used exclusively for transactional project-related SMS communications. We do not use phone numbers for marketing purposes.

Project Information

We collect and store information you enter about your construction projects, including project names, addresses, timelines, budgets, subcontractor details, bid information, invoice records, inspection schedules, and compliance tracking data.

Uploaded Documents

We store documents you upload to the platform, including contracts, permits, drawings, insurance certificates, licenses, lien waivers, safety certifications, and other project files. Documents uploaded by subcontractors through secure upload links are also stored on your behalf.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the platform. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences.

Email Notifications

We collect your email address to send transactional emails related to your account and projects, including document upload confirmations, project status updates, invoice notifications, and compliance alerts.

Transactional SMS Notifications

We collect phone numbers to send transactional SMS messages related to construction project operations. Constructra AI only sends transactional SMS. We do not send promotional or marketing SMS messages.

SMS messages are sent exclusively for project-related communication and may include:

• Bid invitations
• Secure document upload requests
• Compliance reminders
• Inspection reminders
• Project updates
• Document approval notifications
• Task notifications

We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS Consent

Construction companies using Constructra AI are responsible for collecting and maintaining recipient consent before submitting any mobile phone number into the platform.

Recipients provide consent directly to the construction company during subcontractor onboarding, project onboarding, vendor registration, construction contracts, service agreements, or other business communication.

Constructra AI only sends transactional SMS messages after the construction company has obtained recipient consent.

Constructra AI does not collect recipient phone numbers directly and does not obtain consent directly from subcontractors.

AI-Powered Document Processing

We use AI services to assist with document classification, data extraction, and content summarization. Documents processed by AI are handled in accordance with this privacy policy and are not used to train third-party AI models.

2. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate and deliver our platform:

• Twilio — Used to send transactional SMS messages and manage phone number verification. Twilio processes phone numbers and message content on our behalf.
• Supabase — Used for database hosting, user authentication, and file storage. Supabase stores account data, project data, and uploaded documents.
• Cloudflare — Used for DNS management, content delivery, and security protection. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request metadata.
• OpenAI — Used for AI-powered document processing features. Document content sent to OpenAI is processed according to their data usage policies and is not used for model training.

These services are bound by their respective privacy policies and data processing agreements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Constructra AI platform.
• Send transactional SMS and email notifications related to your projects.
• Process and store documents uploaded by you or your subcontractors.
• Provide AI-assisted document processing and organization.
• Manage bid invitations, inspections, and compliance tracking.
• Respond to support inquiries.
• Improve our services and develop new features.
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data for advertising purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We may share information with:

• Service providers: Third-party vendors listed above who help us operate the platform. These providers process data only on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or governmental authority.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage for sensitive data, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account termination, your data will be deleted or anonymized within 90 days, unless retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as resolving disputes.

Uploaded documents are retained for the duration of your subscription. You may delete documents at any time through the platform.
